The Tia Sharp Thing is Still Going On.

Tia Sharp is the 12 year old girl who went missing on Saturday (4/8/12) while making her way to the Whitgift Shopping centre in Croydon. Now into it's fourth day the girls family and the police have been making urgent appeals for anyone with any information to come forward. What they're hoping for is that someone will turn around and say; "After the Shannon Matthews case I'm surprised they haven't searched the grandmother's house yet."

You see that will promote discussion about the Shannon Matthews case and the Madeline McCann case where the parents faked the disappearance of a their child in order for attention and to cover up a murder respectively. This will lead into a discussion about whether certain people should be allowed to look after children which along with today's news about adoption while promote discussion about the council care system. You see recently in Britain a lot of the people who you wouldn't want looking after your children have been complaining that social services have taken their children into council care. This is a very hot topic in British politics at the moment because letting poor children be abused and in some cases killed in their own homes is just so much cheaper then having the state step into protect them.

As for Tia Sharp I think it's more then a fair bet that she's holed up in a hotel somewhere dreaming of the day she can become famous and tell all her friends about her big adventure. Mind you there is a risk that the people who have set her up in the hotel will just kill her to prove me wrong.

Oh and a former head of security for Lloyds bank from Croydon has today been convicted of embezzlement and fraud which is pretty much the motto of the Croydon network. After all I'm sure they'd promised there would be results by now.

16:00 on 7/8/12.
